We are a very friendly, high energy and supportive group from diverse backgrounds. Our club is open to absolutely anyone who wants improve their communication and/or leadership skills. We embrace the Toastmasters program and encourage each other to reach new heights. Don't worry; should you stumble on the way to the top, Peak Speakers will catch your fall! Please come as our guest next Wednesday evening in the Fireside Room.
Who are Peak Speakers? People like you. Our membership ranges from a member who is at the University of Washington to a retired teacher. We are evenly divided between women and men. Some of our members have been in Toastmasters a couple of decades and some have just joined.
How Strong is Peak Speakers? We currently have 17 members and more are joining every month. Every new member is assigned a mentor to help them be successful. For the 2007/2008 Toastmaster year, we have completed 10 out of 10 Distinguished Club Goals.
Our "Club Vision" is to have 24 active members on June 30, 2008 and have 3 speakers a meeting.
